We started in 2014 with a single conviction — that India's industrial buyers deserved a partner who treated specification, sourcing and support as inseparable disciplines, not as separate transactions.

From a base in Raipur, the steel and power capital of central India, we have grown into a trusted supplier across two divisions — electrical equipment for generation, transmission, distribution and protection; and process instrumentation for pressure, temperature, level and flow.

Today, our work touches utilities, integrated steel plants, cement majors, oil and gas networks, and the Indian Railways. The same conviction holds: be the partner that engineers can rely on, and the rest follows.

Founded in Raipur

SM Engineers India is established to serve the central-Indian industrial corridor with a focus on electrical and instrumentation supply.

2017

First major utility

Onboarded as an approved vendor for Power Grid Corporation, expanding scope to switchyard hardware and HT systems.

2019

Instrumentation division

Dedicated process-instruments division established. Partnerships with global gauge and transmitter OEMs.

2022

Pan-India footprint

Consolidated logistics across 14 states. Engineering team scaled to support EPC projects end-to-end.
